I was wondering if that was your TA. I saw the TT.net sticker. I have to ask for leniency on the wing. I`m about to get the car painted and am just lookng for something other than the grocery cart style everyone else has. The one on it is the Saleen wing that Chris Ditty has on his car. I thought it looked great on his so I gave it a shot. Tommy at complete kits is going to mold it on if I keep it, (as well as clean the goo) but I`m admittedly looking for something a bit more subtle.
As far as the tach, it was actually necessary. With the car hooked up to an anylizer, the factory tach was reading about 9% off, and reading low. The last thing I need is to overrev at 7 grand. Yeah yeah, I know, that`s what rev limiters are for but I`d rather not push the motor against it.
And if you only pulled a stock TT by a car length, it`s probably best you didn`t pull up next to me ;-). It might need a paint job, but it`s fast. 17 psi will do that, though. The PE1430`s will be cranking out 22psi as soon as I get a worthy clutch (Kuah, I`ve got my eyes on a two plate HKS. How`s availability?) As for what`s on it now.....the list in my profile needs updating again to say the least.
So yeah, it`s getting a makover. It`s been hit three times without me even being in it! NO major damage, but the paint took a beating on the rear bumper and the front fascia. Anyone have any suggestions on a wing? I am starting to like the WW mid wing but it`s SOOO common. And the Veilside is more gaudy than the one on my car! It`s getting painted next month, so I`m running short on time to make my decisions. Once it`s done I`ll post some pics and you all can give me all the shit you want LOL!!
